Memorable Nght

Mexican Fluid .....

It was as impromptu as it can get ,

A Euro Final in hours of line ,

Friends about to meet after ages ,

After a day of river rafting , the stage , the night was all set .

With the wind flowing at a perfect gentle speed ,

We began smoking "X" on the beach .

With the mood and the perfect night sight ,

mexican fluid shots happened to be the highlight.

When one shot  hardly did any fuss ,

Second shot was on the fire for all of us ,

This ultimately started to show some effect ,

Slow and steady we began to deflect .

Wth lemon providing the soothing touch to throat ,

Few more shots made our brains to float ,

With sentiments and emotions flowing through body , mind and making feel tight ,

We danced , we sung , we played to the tune of various songs through the entire night !!!!

Main-Framed

Exc-hell as in Mainframe ...

Getting introduced to the world of mainframe,
Excited and happy now i am again,
Building and learning the technology i can easily claim,
No matter what you do here its more or less an EXCEL game.

You find JCLS copybooks procs and abends ,
Some DSN and DISP parameter make the data append,
Application and jobs make the batch run,
Final results always stored in EXCEL version.

Say freshers say expierienced say tech leads say manager,
All they talk about is high level language and high level design,
Issue resolving, code conversion , infrastructure are the mere names,
Ultimately they turn up to EXCEL whch seems to be undaunted level coder.

UAT carries on,Region is refreshed for data to be entered,
Shifts are issued to run for batch purpose,
Transaction data needs to be updated in applications,
Entire mainframe WORLD relies on the MICROSOFT SHEET that is EXCEL EXCEl AND EXHELL.

This is dedicated to the time when i was litreally crawling through the field of mainframes and rather than working on technology i was doing something else .
I have penned down that experience in a funny way though it was alearning curve  as well .

Finally i was able to get out of it ;) .
